Solo Johnston Marklee

The design for this round house takes after the great tradition of summer houses built in the middle of an idyllic landscape. Driving along the edge of a forest then past the Los Puertos de Beceite nature reserve one reaches a house emerging from the almond grove like a singular object. All rooms (the dining room and the kitchen both linked with the living room and the bedrooms) are connected. Sliding doors allow privacy or, on the contrary, open on the rest of the space, thus forming a completely open space. A roof terrace with a swimming pool offers a beautiful, unobstructed panoramic view on the Aragon hinterland.
